The Poway
Valley Riders Association was established in 1960 to foster horse and family related activities.
It has evolved into a quality facility on 14 acres in the heart of
Poway, featuring a wide range of equestrian events. The Club offers
a variety of Western and English riding opportunities which include
Pony Club, Drill team, Polo, Gymkhana, Show Jumping, Cross Country,
Dressage, Open Shows and Fun Shows. Additionally, 10,000 – 12,000
people attend the annual Poway Coors Rodeo at the PVRA to watch some
of the nation’s best cowboys and cowgirls compete. Whether you
are looking for a fun show geared for all ages and riding levels or
a yearlong competitive series, the PVRA offers something for everyone.
